I achieved to increase OEM windowsphone virtual memory. From 256MB to 768MB! OEM windowsphone is MADOSMA Q501A, windowsphone 10 mobile.

Procedure

1. INSTALL TOOL

  • Go to developer mode.
  • Get interop tool(store) from microsoft store.
  • Launch interop tool (through the provider extensions mode).
  • Get and install extension NDTK refer to the below Get NDTK…picture. Extension is added interop tool>Core>Extensions of interop tool>Registry providers.
  • Push “Allow the installation of NTDK…” of Unlock>interop unlock. And reboot device.

2. UPDATE BY PC

  • Get 2zip file “WP_CPTT_NT-x86-fre.msi” and “ndtk_spkgs”. It is put on the following site. Interop Tools – A versatile registry app for… | Windows 10 Mobile
  • Install WP_CPTT_NT-x86-fre.msi. Move iutool.exe from C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Kits\10\Tools\bin\i386 to C:\Windows\System32.
  • Unzip ndtk_spkgs and put it on desktop etc.
  • Connect PC and windowsphone via USB cable.
  • Launch command prompt as admin. And write C:\windows\system32>iu tool .exe -v-p c:\xxx. c:\xxx is full path of ndtk_spkgs folder.
  • Your device is updated and reboot. It may be take long time..

3. CHANGE MEMORY

  • Launch interop tool (through the provider extensions mode).
  • Push “Restore default manufacturer” of Unlock>interop unlock. And reboot device. Launch interop tool (through the provider extensions mode), too.
  • Change Unlock>interop unlock to ON.
  • Write of Registry>Registry editor as like follows. REGISTRY HIVE : HKLM(default), REGISTRY KEY PATH : system\currentcontrolset\control\session manager\memory management\, REGISTRY VALUE NAME : pagingfiles.
  • Read REGISTRY VALUE DATA, it is 256 256.
  • Change from 256 to 768, and reboot device.
